Our History
More than 30 years in the making.
From a kitchen table in Lawrence to a trusted local agency in Merrimac — here's how we got here.
- 1995
Founded at the kitchen table
On August 15, 1995, Mary Ellen Sullivan started the agency in the kitchen of her home in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Our first appointment was with Worcester Insurance for personal lines, commercial lines, and life insurance — licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. (Worcester Insurance later became Harleysville, and is now Nationwide.)
- 1996
Moved to Merrimac
In August 1996, the agency moved to Merrimac, Massachusetts — the town we've called home ever since.

Terry and Leslie join the team
More than 20 years ago, Terry and Leslie joined the agency, becoming trusted, familiar voices for generations of our clients.
